Thoughtful, insight-oriented Therapy for Individuals and Couples Seeking Clarity, Connection and Emotional Balance
Trauma-informed and culturally attuned therapy supporting adult individuals, couples, and parents as they navigate anxiety, emotional challenges, and relationship concerns, and major life transitions in Surrey and online across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon, NWT, and Nunavut.
I work with adults who are seeking more than surface-level coping and want to engage in thoughtful, depth-oriented counselling. As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, I value emotional awareness and meaningful exploration, and I work alongside clients to help them better understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that continue to show up in their lives.

WHO I HELP
I understand starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you’re used to carrying everything on your own.
You might be feeling:
Emotionally overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected
Stuck in painful relationship patterns
Carrying the impact of trauma or past experiences
Caught between cultures, roles, or expectations
Wanting change but unsure where to start
Wanting to create a brighter future for yourself or your loved ones that you feel good about being in
You don’t have to do this alone. If you’re curious, uncertain, or simply need a place to talk, you’re welcome here.
WHY AMANA COUNSELLING
The name Amana comes from a word that means trust, safety, and responsibility. I chose this name intentionally, because counselling is, at its core, a relationship built on trust. When someone shares their inner world, their fears, pain, hopes, or vulnerabilities, they are placing something deeply personal in the care of another.
In my practice, Amana represents a commitment to holding that trust with respect, integrity, and care. It reflects my belief that therapy should be a space where clients feel emotionally safe, heard without judgment, and supported with professionalism and compassion. Whether you are sharing something for the first time or returning to something long held inside, my role is to honour that trust and walk alongside you with steadiness and care.
